FAQ’s

Frequently Asked Questions.

Yes. Working on-to-one allows us to provide the intensity, individualization, and specific feedback needed to make significant changes in a short amount of time.

Yes, we also work in small groups. The groups are created for students in similar age groups and somewhat similar needs. There may be 2 to 3 groups of children (each group will not exceed 3 students) working on different skills like IPP lab, Fast ForWord stations, Remedial education. Each group works with trained and experienced therapists.

SAQ’s

Should Ask Questions

At first, it may be difficult to fit in homework, activities, and sessions at the learning center, but for most students, homework gradually becomes easier and homework time becomes shorter. Students become less anxious and more confident and willing. For most, attention both in school and at home increases.

Schools focus on academic skills. They do not generally address the weak underlying processing/learning skills that cause students to struggle. Special education provides valuable support for students but does not typically correct the problem.

Support and accommodations at school are helpful at the moment, but they are not a long-term solution.

Testimonial

Carrie Burchfield - Forever in gratitude,

My daughter participated in the Empowerkidz program for over 6 months. She is a 7-year-old child with ADHD. Throughout this program, my daughter increasingly demonstrated the capacity to retain information learned. Her ability to focus and maintain attention changed dramatically; so much so that her teacher noticed the improvement.

Shilpa & Ajay Garg - Forever in gratitude,

My Path was directed to empower kids when my 7 year old son, Ayush struggled with reading and writing skills for the languages ( English and Hindi). Although he was excellent in all other subjects especially Math’s but due to the issue of reading and writing his overall performance was not encouraging and as per his class standards.

Neeta and family - Forever in gratitude,

Discovering at the age of 5 plus that there is something amiss with your normal looking and a talking child was a rather scary and harrowing experience for young parents back at the beginning of the 90s!! With literally no idea of what ADHD stood for, or what it meant for your little precious one to be diagnosed as Dyslexic!!
